Karin has always been drawn to helping others and has spent time volunteering overseas, first in India and later in Cambodia, at a bakery and café, supporting and empowering young women. Her background in coffee led to her role managing a coffee shop in Philadelphia employing foster youth that were aging out of care. After her time there, she worked as a one-on-one counselor at Devereux Behavioral Health before moving to the Charlottesville area to work at the Keswick School.
"Nothing brings me more joy than helping others grow and witnessing their journey to reach their full potential. I love being part of the independent living program here at Keswick, where I get to watch students try new things and encourage them in their pursuits."
