The Little Keswick Education Corporation’s Board of Trustees supports the mission of the school and ensures the school’s success. Members of the Board of Trustees hold the school “in trust” for those the school serves now and for those who will come to Keswick School in the future. The board serves for the benefit of children and their families and serves the faculty and staff who work here.

Robert “Andy” Eichfeld

Robert “Andy” Eichfeld

Chair

Andy Eichfeld recently served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources and Administrative Officer, and a member of the Executive Committee at Discover. He was responsible for Human Resources, Corporate Communications, and the Discover Management System. Prior to joining Discover, Andy was with McKinsey & Company for 23 years based in Chicago, Boston, and Washington, DC. As a Senior Partner, he helped lead services companies through large-scale Lean Management transformations, which resulted in significant gains in revenue and cost efficiency, speed, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. He also built a global practice focused on Lean Management and led several initiatives to modernize McKinsey’s internal talent systems and leadership development programs. Andy earned a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College and two master’s degrees from the University of Chicago. Andy lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife, Nancy, and twins, Owen and Gwen. Owen attended TKS for grades 5-8.

 


Robert “Bob” Hayward

Vice Chair

Robert (Bob) is a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago. Bob and his wife Liz live in Northfield, IL with their three sons. Their youngest son, Griffin was a student at Keswick School from January 2019 to June 2022 and went on to graduate from Middlebridge School. Bob has a B.S. degree and a J.D. degree from Northwestern University where Bob serves on the Board of Trustees. When asked to consider serving on the LKEC Board of Trustees, Bob remarked:  “I often get asked to join an organization because of my skills, experiences and judgment.  While that may be true here as well, Keswick is getting a more complete package.  I’m not doing this alone, I’m doing this together with Griffin and Liz to make a difference now and for generations to come.”Bob was named a “Notable Gen X Leader” by Crain’s Chicago Business in 2021 and a “Trailblazer in the Midwest” by The American Lawyer in 2022. He helps lead the team that has been awarded “Capital Markets Practice Group of the Year” numerous times by Law 360.

 


Leigh Neil

Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Leigh received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, and her MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. She has worked as a strategy and decision analysis consultant in the US and internationally, helping clients to identify robust strategies and to analyze choices in the face of uncertainty. Leigh describes herself as an experienced business professional with a broad set of skills and experiences across multiple industries and countries. As a management consultant, she has helped top decision-makers in large organizations to better understand, discuss and quantify opportunities, risks and uncertainties. She settled in Sweden in 1999, and in 2005, she started an e-commerce business with a focus on high-quality, educational toys which she sold in 2023. Leigh currently resides in Stockholm, where she is an independent consultant, a mentor to early-stage ventures and a volunteer in community outreach programs for newly-arrived immigrants. Leigh's son Ben was a student at TKS between 2015 and 2019.

 


P. “Frank” Berry

P. “Frank” Berry

Treasurer

For more than 30 years, Frank Berry has helped his clients solve problems. He enjoys learning about new businesses and organizations, and providing resources, knowledge, and strategic planning to help owners and executives gain greater control over their businesses, organizations, and personal lives. Frank has particular knowledge in costing and cost allocations; budgeting; cash flow analysis and management; and nonprofit management. He frequently conducts programs for the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. Frank grew up in Madison County and graduated from Madison County High School. Frank’s area of professional services is accounting and auditing. He specializes in historic/tourist sites, manufactures, nonprofit organizations, and retailers. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). During his time with Hantzmon Wiebel, he worked extensively with nonprofit and for profit clients and worked with Little Keswick School as the auditor and in an advisory capacity for more than 20 years.

 


Elizabeth “Liz” Adams

Elizabeth (Liz) W. Adams has an A.B. in American History from Harvard University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School in Management. Her son, Miles W. Lasser, was a student at Little Keswick, now Keswick School, from April 2017 to June 2019. Keswick and its wonderfully, dedicated staff (which included therapist, Jennifer Bailey), played an influential role in helping Miles pull out of a dark place that included “school refusal” and anxiety. For this reason, Liz and her family are immensely grateful to the Keswick School for their support and selfless commitment to helping their son and others. Until she retired to raise three children, Liz worked in marketing and strategic planning for IBM, BayBanks (now Bank of America), The Boston Company, and Fidelity Investments. Liz has served on a few institutional boards which have included Breakthrough Greater Boston, History Cambridge, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.  She and her husband, Cliff Lasser, believe strongly in supporting those less fortunate without access to resources for their education.

 


Thomas “Greg” Hambrick

Thomas (Greg) Hambrick has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Management from Virginia Tech. He is currently the President and CEO of The Baxter Trust, a private foundation that supports nonprofits endeavoring to help people improve their station in life. He focuses on administering the business of the foundation including leading the grant-making process and overseeing the investment of the foundation’s corpus. He reports to a five person Board of Trustees. Prior to coming to The Baxter Trust, Greg was the founder and CEO of Fast Forward Analytics, LLC, an organization engaged in the objective measurement of skills and abilities of those who have not achieved academic success for the purpose of identifying sustainable vocations. A cloud-based software developed by the company measures these skills. Greg serves on many non-profit boards. In March 2016, the Little Keswick Education Corporation appointed Greg as one of the founding members of the Board of Directors. Greg Hambrick is the father of two adult sons Wesley and Walker.

 


Edward “Ed” Irby

Edward (Ed) Irby is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. His Master’s Degree is in Educational Administration and Supervision from Longwood College, and he completed all but his dissertation for an Ed.D in English Education at the University of Virginia.Ed is the founder of ECI Consulting, LLC and the co-founder and CEO of FasPsych, LLC. As the President of ECI Consulting, Ed was an executive specialist in profit improvement, team management and execution of turnaround or implementation plans. He is experienced in managed care and provider operations for mentally ill populations with a strong interest in innovative, community-based programs for children and their families. FasPsych is an innovative company that provides tele-psychiatric services to underserved areas. Ed and his wife, Carol Dalton, live in Virginia Beach.

 


Aaron Parsons

Dr. Aaron Parsons is the vice president of school programs for Kennedy Krieger Institute. Aaron holds a Bachelor’s Degree in American Government and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Virginia. He holds a post-graduate certificate in the Administration and Organization of Schools and a Doctorate in Education from Johns Hopkins University. As a member of the Special Education Administration, Dr. Parsons is responsible for oversight of several of the Institute’s school programs, as well as supervision of admissions, regulatory compliance and transition services. He also supervises psychological and behavioral services in the schools and works with a broad, multi-disciplinary leadership team. Additionally, Aaron supervises the School Programs' IS department, who are critical to administering distance learning. Aaron began his career as a counselor and special education teacher. He holds certification as a general and special educator as well as a superintendent of schools. In 1994, Aaron came to Little Keswick School as a Residential Supervisor/Crisis Intervention Counselor. After one year, he moved into the position of a Special Education Teacher. Four years later, Aaron then began as the Academic Coordinator at the school.

 


Linda Kilburn-Peterson

Currently based outside of Boston, Linda has had professional roles as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company and the Chief Administrative Officer of FSG, a nonprofit consulting firm advising philanthropic funders on their giving strategies. As a volunteer, Linda has consulted to church leadership teams and most recently provided strategic and fundraising support to Misión de Caridad, a nonprofit empowering migrant families to build lives of hope and purpose on the Mexican side of the US border. Linda has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.  She, her husband Chris and their two children have also lived in Singapore and Philadelphia.  Their son Andrew attended Keswick for grades 7-9.

 


Earle MacKenzie

Earle is currently retired, but his professional career started when he graduated from William and Mary with a BBA in Accounting. Upon passing the CPA exam, Earl worked for the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. Realizing he didn’t want to be an auditor, he began a 43-year career in Telecommunication. His first position in 1976 was in regulated telephone communication with Contel, a large primarily rural telecommunication company. Still with Contel, in 1984, Earle was fortunate enough to be in on the ground floor of a new technology - Cellular as the CFO of their new cellular division. He transitioned to VP Marketing and Sales and to Sr. Vice President. The last 15 years of Earle’s career was as EVP and COO of Shentel, a diversified public telecommunication company offering wireless, cable and telephone services located in Edinburg VA. In retirement, Earle started a second career/hobby working with a contractor to build spec homes at Smith Mountain Lake.
