Briona recently graduated from a master's program at the University of Virginia, where she took an interest in investigating how developmental theories and research can be used to aid social-emotional learning in special education. She has previous work experience in various youth-related settings, including directing a summer camp and being a research assistant in a lab within the University of Virginia's School of Education. Briona's passion for supporting the growth and success of youth led her to complete an internship at Keswick School during her master's program and to remain part of the community post-graduation.
"Being a part of the Keswick School community is such a special and rewarding experience. It's amazing how students and staff come together with the common goal of putting in hard work to keep learning and improving. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to support our students, to witness their growth, and to celebrate their big and small successes with them."
