Sophie graduated from the University of Virginia this year with a dual degree in Russian and Psychology. During college, she served as a small group facilitator for Hoos Connected and as a lead research assistant in the UVA Emotion and Behavior lab. Previously, she worked as a CAYIP Counselor for teens served by Charlottesville Human Services. She hopes to pursue research in social psychology or sociology later in life and is particularly interested in loneliness, language, religion, autism spectrum disorder, and community building.
"The boys admitted to Keswick School often, rather than failing themselves, have been failed by systems that are supposed to protect and support them. Working here means being able to help them address long-unmet needs and recognize their unique strengths. I'm so excited to be a part of that."
