After graduating from the University of Virginia, Markevus provided therapeutic day treatment services in Charlottesville City Schools' alternative education program. Simultaneously, he began an 11-year coaching career with the varsity football team at Charlottesville High School. After four years with Charlottesville City Schools, Markevus transitioned to Keswick School as a residential counselor. He has served as a member of the residential, academic, and leadership teams since joining the Keswick community.
"I find fulfillment in positively promoting the lives of young people, particularly teenage boys, through the avenues of athletics and social and emotional development. Helping them achieve their full potential is my ultimate goal."
