Jacob attended Longwood University where he earned his degree in English literature. From there, he worked at a school for children with learning difficulties, and this experience informed his interest in entering the field of mental health. After working at Okalnad School for two years, Jacob accepted a job at Keswick School as a residential instructor. He quickly felt connected to the community and began honing his skills to support our students. After serving as shift supervisor for several years, Jacob returned to school to pursue his MSW degree.
"I chose to work at Keswick School because I believe I can make a meaningful difference in our students' lives. I have grown significantly in my time working here, and find it fulfilling to empower the boys to invest in their own growth. Having navigated so much adversity, our boys need trusted adults in their corner. I am eager to offer that support."
