“I was inspired to work at TKS and, study psychology in general, because I desire to transform the stigma surrounding mental health. I have siblings with social, emotional, learning, and behavioral issues similar to the students at TKS, and I hope to contribute to fostering a community of acceptance and support for the neurodiverse at TKS and beyond. I believe the relationships I will create with students and fellow staff members with have a tremendous impact on my future career as I continue to help children discover their true selves and recognize their unique skills and capabilities.”
Hannah is very active in club and intramural sports at UVA. She is a member of both the club Ultimate Frisbee and the Virginia Alpine Ski and Snowboard teams. Hannah also enjoys the live music scene of Charlottesville and attends as many concerts as she can from local garage bands to larger artists at venues like the Jefferson Theatre, Ting Pavilion, and JPJ Arena.
