Annual Fund
Our Annual Fund is the School’s most important philanthropic priority. Annual Fund gifts are used, not for operating costs, but to enhance our programs and to help make TKS more accessible to families in need. Donations are unrestricted so that they can be applied to areas of greatest need.
“It is an honor to contribute to the Keswick School Annual Fund. The work that you and the entire TKS staff do every day truly changes lives, and we are so thankful for the experience that our son had at TKS.”
– The Parents of Tommy M., TKS Class of 2017
Thank you to our donors who supported the TKS Annual Fund in its first year of existence. In 2017 you gave over $100,000 to provide financial aid, awards and special programs for students, as well as professional development for our faculty and staff and the ongoing maintenance of our beautiful campus.
Restricted Giving – Restricted gifts can be spent only for a specific purpose designated by the donor, such as financial aid or a particular program. Unrestricted gifts can be spent where Keswick School believes the need is greatest. Unrestricted giving is the top priority for funding at TKS, as it allows flexibility to respond to challenges and opportunities, and gives TKS the freedom to place funds where it will serve TKS the best. Unrestricted giving helps the School because it gives us the freedom to place money where it will serve Keswick School the best. Our top priorities are student scholarships, faculty support, and maintenance of the beautiful and serene campus. Special programs support and encourage excellence among our students and staff. Some of our existing special program funds include the Nicholas Hannant Scholarship Fund, Gabriel Hirsch Poetry & Art Fund, and the Hugh Motley Equestrian Fund.
